Lift School in La Tramblay
In October of 2015, we opened Lift School in the rural village of La Tramblay, a community facing deep poverty and spiritual need. From the beginning, our desire has been to bring both truth and hope through God’s Word while meeting practical needs.
Students are taught the Word of God daily, and we pray that they will grow in their faith and become a light in their community. God has been doing powerful and encouraging work in this village, and we are grateful for what He has already done and hopeful for what is still to come.
Hunger remains a serious challenge for many of our students. Some children are unable to attend class simply because they are too weak from a lack of food. In response, we hope to begin a feeding program in the coming school year so that students can learn, grow, and thrive. We continue to trust God’s will as we work faithfully to further His Kingdom and bring glory to His name.
Lift School in Karade Tent City
On October 8, 2013, Lift School opened its doors in Karade Tent City, welcoming students for its very first school year. This school was created for children who had never been able to attend school simply because their families could not afford it. Our heart is not only to provide education, but to nurture children spiritually and help them grow as young followers of Christ. Each day, students learn the Word of God, memorize Scripture, sing, and pray together. Many of our students begin school far below the grade level typical for their age, yet through hard work, encouragement, and God’s faithfulness, we have seen several children rise to appropriate grade levels. We praise God for the progress and transformation we continue to witness.
